About Me

Hi, I'm Chandley – founder of The Ojaian, local doula and passionate chef who focuses on earth-centered nourishment. I’ve committed my life to tending to people’s nourishment needs during times of change and overwhelm - including postpartum recovery, chronic illness, hormonal shifts during the aging process, modern living, deep awakening, and reclaiming health.

As a sixth-generation Ojaian, the services I provide are rooted in my dedication to being in right relationship with this land and the cycles of life it sustains. I am guided to work with people who want to cultivate wellness from within; people like you, who want to truly nourish themselves so they can operate at a higher, more loving frequency.

  • Bachelors of Arts in Spanish Literature, UCLA

  • Completed Traditional Midwifery Training, Radical Birth Keeper School 

  • Completed Integrative Resuscitation of the Newborn, Karen Strange

  • Certified Birth Doula, DONA International

  • Certified Breastfeeding Specialist

  • Postpartum Kitchen Apprenticeship, Milk + Seed

  • Experienced Birth and Postpartum Doula for +100 families

  • +10 years of private chef work and nourishing postpartum women

  • Completed Intuitive Doula Education, Carriage House Birth

  • Completed Breastfeeding Training, Carriage House Birth

  • Advanced Birth Workers Workshop in Bali with Ibu Robin Lim, Sarah Buckley & Debra Pascali-Bonaro  

  • Certified Adult, Child and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED, American Red Cross​​​​​
