Chandley's work began long before The Ojaian. As a doula, she spent years supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and the tender weeks that followed. Again and again, she witnessed a common challenge: mothers recovering from birth without the nourishment their bodies needed.
As a mother herself, Chandley understand firsthand how deeply food can support healing, restoration, and resilience during this transformative season.
For over a decade, she has cooked for postpartum mothers and families in New York City, New Mexico, and Ojai. Her background includes professional kitchens, private cheffing, food styling, and years of preparing nourishing meals specifically for pregnancy and postpartum.
As a sixth-generation Ojaian, Chandley's work is deeply connected to the land, seasons, and community that continue to shape her. She sources locally whenever possible, cooks seasonally, and prepares each meal with love.
Her wish is simple: that every delivery helps you feel nourished, supported, and anchored.
